Founder and senior partner of Trappler Attorneys, Gary Trappler was admitted as an Attorney in 1985.

Gary Trappler graduated at the University of Cape Town (UCT) with an undergraduate B Proc degree in 1983 and with a LLM in International Law in 1989.

After several years practice in the SA law courts, he relocated to London and New York for 6 years years specialising in International law and trade; representing clients across the globe. Of special interest was his involvement in International Arbitration disputes and the formation of Offshore Companies, Trusts and International Trade.

With vast experience in local and International Law

Together with his associates and assistants the firm has a cumulative experience of over a 100 years of  legal service and expertise.

Gary Trappler represented IFMA and successfully Thai entity presented before the the Royal King of Thailand;

he has written and published articles in LLoyds List and other publications;

he has represented clients in Sports Association in Switzerland.

He is a family man with a passion in martial arts and is a martial arts instructor.
